About Assoc Prof.Dr. Adam CHEE
Dr. Adam CHEE is the Founder and Chief Advocacy Officer of binayHealthCare, a social enterprise that serves to “Bridge the eHealth Divide” by empowering stakeholders on effective adoption of Health IT as an enabler for “better patient care at lower cost”.
Bringing 10 years of experience in strategy & operations, technology & workflow advisory, implementation & adoption of eHealth technologies across Asia Pacific, Adam had a successful career in the IT industry before venturing into Health Informatics in 2002 and he worked broadly across the healthcare ecosystem including the primary care sector, private and public tertiary hospitals, government health agencies and non-governmental organization across the globe.

His unique background includes working in Sales, Business Development and Product Management with established MNCs including Agfa HealthCare, CrimsonLogic, innovative start-ups like Mach7 Technologies and leading the Health IT and Medical Imaging practice within Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific, consulting for Fortune 500 companies like GE, Phillips,TNTand Sony. Adam has also ‘earned his stripes’ as an industry pioneer, implementing and managing Clinical IT solutions during his tenure with Singapore Health Services (SingHealth).
A firm believer of lifelong learning, Adam stays relevant through continuous professional development in diverse disciplines and holds advanced degrees in Health Informatics and Computing. He is currently pursuing a MBA and a Master in Public Health.
Adam holds faculty positions at institutes of higher learning in the region, including an Associate Professorship (Health Informatics), has published 2 books & numerous articles and frequently advises and speaks at international conferences.
Adam is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare and holds the honor of being the first inductee of the Microsoft Certified Professional Hall of Fame International.
